Why do we keep hours?
The Master Gardening program is supervised by Virginia Tech and Virginia State universities and is funded by Federal, State, and local sources. All concerned need to know that the public is being served in the manner and to the degree envisioned by the founders of the Master Gardeners and that this service is meaningful to the community. Additionally, as an intern we need to know that you are adequately trained to serve the community as a Master Gardener.
