Scuppernong GrapesScuppernong, a name commonly applied to all bronze-skinned Muscadine grapes, is the oldest and best-known variety. Berry clusters are usually small and shatter badly, but the grape quality is good, and it has a very distinctive flavor. The Scuppernong Grape is a native to this area. It can also be found along the Scuppernong River in North Carolina. Reference(s): |
