DESCRIPTION:Extension Master Gardener\, Wallace Williamson\, will present a class on “Introduction to Container Gardening”. He will be discussing small container gardening techniques that can be used by homeowners and renters alike. The “Container Gardening” program will include: the advantages of container gardening\, decisions to be made in container gardening\, selecting the right container\, selecting the right plant for the right place\, design and construction of attractive containers\, general care and maintenance\, creating containers for each season of the year\, over wintering containers\, and other related information. \nThis presentation is put on by the Virginia Peninsula Community College\, Historic Triangle Campus\, in partnership with the James City County/Williamsburg Master Gardeners Association. \nDate: Tuesday\, Sept 9\, 2025\nTime: 1:00pm-2:00pm\nLocation: Library Classroom 100M\, VPCC Historic Triangle Campus \nIt is free\, so come and learn about container gardening.
