Frequently Asked Questions about MG Training
When and where will classes meet? The classroom/hands-on training runs from Feb. 27 – May 16, 2024. Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm at various locations in James City and at other nearby horticultural-related venues.
Do you offer tuition assistance? A limited amount of tuition assistance is available. To request tuition assistance, please send an email to [email protected] stating your need and the portion of the course fee you can pay.
What is the refund policy? If a student withdraws before January 31, all tuition will be refunded. Withdrawals between February 1 and 19, 2024 will receive 50% of tuition. No refunds are given after February 20, 2024.
When do I need to get my 50 volunteer hours and what happens if I don’t meet the requirement? Graduation is planned for December 5, 2024 and you will need your 50 volunteer hours by then. Upon request and extenuating circumstances, the VCE Agent can extend the time.
