Good Cuts, Good Neighbors
It’s a little nippy out there, and this is the ideal time to perfect your pruning skills.
So, cheer up, put on your winter woolies, and head outside with your pruning tools to share the Master Gardener pearls of wisdom, such as why, when, and how to prune, along with choosing the right tool for the job and why.
On Thursday, January 22, at 9:30 am, Master Gardeners interested in volunteering for the Pruning Clinic gathered at the Stryker Center to form geographic teams that will make home visits in neighborhoods.
Applications are still being received, so tell your family and friends that there is still time to submit one. They can apply through the JCCWMG.ORG website by going under the HOME VISIT menu at the top, then selecting PRUNING HOME VISIT REQUESTS to get access to the Application Request form.
Master Gardener Pruning Teams will be making homeowner visits now through the second week in March.
If you have any questions or would like to join a pruning team, contact Wendy at [email protected].
