New Kent Bug Event – 2026

The New Kent Cooperative Extension Office brings you the New Kent Bug Event for 2026, a festive opportunity to learn more about the diverse and wonderful world of insects through educational booths, activities, and a hands-on environment.
They will be joined by local organizations and specialists who will offer engaging activities and insightful information on anything and everything to do with bugs! An event for all ages, there will be plenty to learn and enjoy!
This event will bring youth members, volunteers, and the broader community together to emphasize learning, awareness, and community involvement. The James City/Williamsburg Master Gardeners will have an “Ask A Master Gardener” booth to answer all your garden questions.
Please join them on March 21st at the New Kent Historic School Parks and Recreation Gym for the New Kent Bug Event, and crawl your way into the world of insects!”
